About Dalmatian Rescue of Colorado

DRC, a designated 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization, is not a shelter. We are a group of volunteers who work with rescued dogs by fostering them in our own homes whenever possible; hence treating them the same as one of our own. We will use a kennel or day care if necessary to save a dog, but that dog will move to a foster home as soon as possible. All costs associated with the care of our dogs come from adoption donations and from the generosity of donors. We provide vaccinations, spaying/neutering, socialization and training of these dogs until a permanent home can be found. Our number one commitment is to the Dalmatians and Dalmatian Wannabes that come our way. We carefully screen all applicants and do home visits to assure each dog is placed in the best home for him/her and he/she is the best companion for that home.

Brandon (Mr. Marlon) or was that Marlon Brando? Whichever, this guy is as handsome as any movie star! Oh boy, Brandon is now called Mani (Mani Barilow?) by his foster mom. Whatever you call this dog park junky is fine with us. He loves to play and play and play. Mani is not black spotted but a very rich mahogany brown, sort of like chocolate! Yum… and isn’t he just yummy??? Mani was very near death when he came to us as a 4 mo. puppy in a high kill shelter. Currently, Mani is in Denver foster home where he is a good boy! He has met cats and seems a little too interested for their own good. He is crate trained and housebroken too and not destructive inside. Mani is not a barker but he will alert when called for. He would make a great power walking, jogging or biking partner as he has lots of energy (as do most puppies)! He walks well on an Easy Walk Harness but would definitely benefit from a training class (as do most puppies!) and REALLY wants/needs a companion to romp with. At only 38 lbs, Brandon is a smaller package, a nice size to sit on your lap! For more info contact Karen at Hikingdal@gmail.com. Adoption $200.
