Hi Auntie Chris, Uncle Joe & Friends at Heska!
I'm so glad you liked my pictures. Ain't I cute! I am considering a
modeling career, buy Mom thinks I should stick to family snap shots! Tell Auntie Beth it's OK to put my pictures on the happy endings page. Mom took another 3 rolls of pictures again this week. I think she's snap happy!
Dad stayed with me all week and took me for quite a few rides. I really like that. After two weeks, I pretty much have them trained! I did however scale (not jump) over the fence from the back yard to the front yard. There is this place at the corner where the fences meet and the land slopes up. It looked like a pretty short fence to me, so I tried my skill and made it! I also got caught by Dad. He said 'NO'! I got the picture but tried again and he caught me again cuz he was 'WATCHING.' Mom caught me in the acttoo, so, I haven't tried it since. Maybe I just lost interest in the front yard. Anyway, the back yard is huge and has a big big porch all the way across the back of the house. It's shaded too! My Mom put a great big black waterer about half the size of a kids swimming pool on the porch for me to drink water and get wet if I want. I drink out of it a lot when we are outside playing ball.

Yesterday, Mom took me to Pets Mart again. We went walking around and all the people looked at me and pointed. They thought I was really neat! My Mom let everyone pet me and I wagged my tail and took all the pets I could get! Boy, are there a lot of doggies on leashes with their Mom's and Dad's! We then walked down the squeaky toy isle and stopped. Mom crouched down, told me to sit and I did. She said 'OK, you can pick out a toy if you want.' I snooped around, picked out a big squeaky toy that looked like a big Turkey Leg, then carried it to the check out line. When we got there, I dropped it so Mom could pick it up and pay for it. I stood real nice in line. We got to the counter and the girl ringing up the stuff commented on how nice I was, then asked if she could give me a biscuit. Mom said it was OK, so she walked all the way around the counter, gave me the biscuit and petted me. She thought I was the neatest dog she ever saw ---- and of course --- I was! I wonder what all the people in line behind us thought? Mom and I jogged back to the car (cuz I like walking fast) and went home. I squeaked by new toy and put my head out the window all the way home (around 12 miles). What a fun day! Then we played a lot outside since it was so nice out.

In Arizona, the winters are for playing outside and in the summers, we stay more inside. The mornings are pretty nice in the summer, so we will have to play ball early. Every once in a while, the two horses like to run real fast in the pasture. When they do, I run down the fence with them. I bark a little, telling them I like this game! Sometimes the goats run along too. I like to sit in the back yard and look at all the neighbors pastures and yards. I see cows, ponies, dogs, geese, turkeys and kids. Are kids animals? Then I come bounding in my dog door for more fun!
Mom and Dad says HI to everyone and they are overjoyed I got to come live with them! Well, that's it for now. Let me know when my picture gets on the Happy Ending's page! I'll be a STAR!
Love and Big Big Paw Hugs and Slurpy Kisses!
