Chelsea

Chelsea came to Dalmatian Rescue as a very terrified little girl. She was turned into a local shelter where the help became very attached to her, but realized she would just not be placed because she was so scared and got rescue involved and fostered her. Kim, who had just lost one of her Dalmatians (Bonnie, adopted earlier from Rescue) had room for three Dalmatians and adopted Chelsea. Here is her story.

Chelsea has worked in very well now has two new friends to keep her busy! Jessie (the liver) who will be 8 the end of May and who is Mom to the crew, loves to groom her ears!! She also really loves to play with Chelsea. Indy (black) will be 7 in early June and she is big sister, showing Chelsea about trying to catch squirrels, how steal cat food, you know, anything goofy. They play a lot too. Chelsea adores jumping off the back of the sofa and she adores toys and I have a huge toy box that she rummages through every morning looking for something new. I think her best physical feature is her sweet face. She really is a darling dog, and so affectionate! From the first day, I have left Chelsea with Jessie and Indy with the run of the house with no destruction or upset.

She really is a joy and is the perfect dog to help fill the hole left by Bonnie. She would have had so much fun with Bonnie!! One rather cute thing Chelsea does is she crawls under the baby gate I have in the doorway of the guest room which is Sydney's room (the cat) and takes all of her toys, one by one, out to the living room! She loves cat toys!! So, when I leave I close the door now!

All I can say is that Chelsea is a wonderful Dal and I am so sorry her family had to give her up because they are missing out on a lot of love.
