| We got our Dalmatian (known as Amelia on the web site) about a month ago and have been enjoying her ever since. We have always wanted a Dalmatian because we truly believe they are the most beautiful dogs in the world. We had been looking for the perfect Dal for about three months when we saw an ad in the paper for Dalmatian Rescue. We called immediately and the next day we had our meeting with Duchess. We just fell in love with her the minute we saw her, she was so calm and gentle and loving, and we had to have her! When we brought Duchess home, she got along fine with our other dog Honey Bun, who is also a puppy. Our biggest worry was how she would react to our cat, but after a few little hisses and growls all three became good friends! Duchess loves to take walks around the lake, and particularly likes to watch the ducks in the water - sometimes she gets too brave and tries to swim after them! She has become a wonderful addition to our family, and we all love her dearly and enjoy spoiling her. We would highly recommend a dog from Dalmatian Rescue to all our friends and co-workers!
