We adopted Sheba last weekend. She was my Mother's Day present!! We have 2 kids Abby (8) and Lucas (10) and they just love Sheba. Sheba loves to sleep on their bed. But she has totally fallen in love with my husband Shannon. She is never far from his side. She has a hard time when the kids are downstairs and Shannon is upstairs. She's never sure where to go then! Of course I keep reminding her that I feed her...it doesn't seem to matter! Sheba loves to go running with my son and it is fun to watch them together. The best time of the day is in the morning, Sheba is so happy to wake up in our home that she has to go wake up the kids too! She bounces around with this huge smile on her face and it looks like she feels just so lucky! It makes me smile every morning. We feel really blessed to have her part of our family and I wanted to thank Beth for all her help in finding Sheba and realizing that she was a good fit for our family.
