Maggie

Maggie is wonderful!!! She has charmed us all. While we have only had her home for four days, it is as though she has been with us forever and I can't imagine her not being here. Maggie is my third adopted Dalmatian and another incredible addition to our family. Patrick, my first, passed away two years ago at Christmas and his dear friend, my girl Abby, passed away a few weeks ago on December 3rd. With both of them gone, the house and life was just far too quiet. I am very grateful to Beth White for introducing me to Maggie - a girl who needed love and a secure home who was only a short drive away. I also cannot thank Seth and Alisa enough for rescuing Maggie from animal control and taking wonderful care of her those first few weeks. I also greatly appreciate their driving to meet us in Snowville so that we could have her home before Christmas. While I don't know her name, I also appreciate the lady at animal control that called Beth and told her about Maggie so that she could be saved. Maggie was there because she had been abused and was seriously underweight. Because of her age, they would not try to find a home for her.

Given her history, it is amazing that this little girl is so full of trust and love. She shows us how much she loves us each and every day with a cheery morning greeting, energetic walks, wagging tail and dancing feet when I come home from work and curling up by my side in the evening. She may be eight years old but she has just the right mix of energy, patience and manners - the perfect fit for our family. She is a delight and has quickly become the heart of our home.
