Sassy and I came together in much the same way. We had both been badly abused and had both ended up in the home of a very kind-hearted woman. Some would say it was love at first sight. Whenever things were too stressful or too loud to take, I'd go outside and sit with Sassy. As she slowly got better, so did I. Often times it was through each other that we did get better. Sassy cares for me even as I care for her. Sassy has a unique ability to make me smile and always listens to me. Before I know it I was spending more and more time with her. I know that I will do anyting for Sassy. Sassy healed me even as I tried to heal her. Sharon C. |
