Sweetie1

This little girl lives up to her name of Sweetie!! She was found in Kansas on someone's property where she had just given birth to 10 puppies! She was taken to the shelter where all her puppies were adopted. She is a two year old Dal-Heeler mix. Betts and I saw on the website that her time was running out and we wanted to help by fostering her, so thanks to the "Dal Pal" network, Toni, Paige and Beth, she got on the "waggin' train" and arrived here on the western slope of Colorado around the start of summer. We already had adopted Hudson a year ago, and wanted only one dog, but as soon as Sweetie came home, they were the best of friends and she had won our hearts, so we made her part of our forever home!

She loves to snuggle, lay in the sunshine, chase (and eat) grasshoppers, chew toys and playing tug-of-war and "catch me if you can" with Hudson. She is well behaved, loves people, long walks, her special soft chair in the living room, and sharing our bed with Hudson! She is a delight, and we especially love her short sleek coat. She seems like she's been part of our family for years and we're happy to make that come true!!
