Originally adopted as a small pup, sweet Rico was reclaimed by the shelter when she was found in terrible condition. She was starved and had mange. Today she is fat and sassy and ready to rumble. She adores all dogs and people. Just a little girl, Rico is about 32 pounds but she really can hold her own with most any dog that wants to play. I wasn't looking for a new dog. I already had a 13 year old heeler buddy and two cats. But it was true love at first sight for me. Rico now makes daily trips to my office (I'm a veterinarian) to spend her days with me and she is ready for the car ride every morning - as she loves the car. She meets and greets everyone that comes in, both two and four-legged and she brings a smile to everyone's face. Dr. Tana Hetrick, DVM |
