We found "Dallas" on the Dalmatian
website. I had some concerns about rescuing a dog we would know very
little about, since we have two young children and three other dogs at
home. However, with Beth White's encouragement, we went to meet this dog
at the Denver Dumb Friends League. He was so sweet and gentle with both
the kids and the other dogs, we just had to bring him home. Harpo is a
big marshmallow. He is extraordinarily patient with the kids (the
attached picture is of Harpo and our daughter Emma having a
"sleepover") and very easy to have around. We are all so
grateful to Beth for her guidance and advice. Harpo has been at our
house for two months now and has not yet stopped wagging his tail.
