Hi, my name is Jade. My new family had Ellie and
Raisin. Ellie was with my mom
(Jamie) for 14 ˝ years. They did
everything together. Ellie lived
in In June, my mom called Beth – for a litter of puppies she planned for Spring 2006. Beth talked to my mom and told her about me. I ate some carpeting and ended up going to the vet to have surgery. My other family never picked me up. Jamie came to take my picture and a couple days later, Jamie and her sister, Shelley, and nephew, Freddy picked me up. They took me to meet Raisin. I heard them talking about just “fostering” me and didn’t know what that meant. Later in the month, they said they wanted to adopt me. I guess that was better than fostering, because I have been here ever since! I love my new family and sister Raisin. We run and chase each other around the backyard. It took me awhile to get to know my cousin Mattie – she’s a bloodhound and so much bigger than Raisin and I! We have a cabin in the mountains and love to go for walks around the lake. My dad even lets me lay on his lap – Raisin and I have to take turns though. We are all so happy! I’m glad I found this family, we love each other so much. Thanks to Beth for telling Jamie about me. |
