Shay had surgery on a broken leg and then sat for about 6-8 weeks in a shelter and was unable t use the leg and he really needed to build it up. We adopted Shay over a year ago from Dalmatian Rescue and then drove straight out to California. Shay 's days are now filled with going to the dog beach and playing in the waves and sand, boating and swimming at the river (which is by far his most favorite place in the world), and hanging out at the house and going on walks. He is definitely a California dog, enjoying both the sun and water. Since we have had him he has become an amazing swimmer which also has helped rehabilitate his rear leg that he had surgery on just before we got him. He now runs around and you can't even tell he had surgery in the past. Thank you very much for allowing us the opportunity to have such a great, sweet, loving dog. |
