Trimming - Disclaimer:
These are not Dalmatians so you might have a little more resistance
(smile). Once the dog is acclimated to the
noise, Dremmel tools are much easier to use than a nail trimmer. Less
likley
to "quick" a nail
too.

How to rate your dog food - It is always good to know the food you are feeding your dog. This will help you evaluate the foods that you are currently feeding or help to determine if you should consider changing to a better quality food.

Remember that Dalmatians still require LOW purine foods and lower protein. The
protein source is, however, is most imporant than the actual level of protein.
All Dalmatians should be fed with their dog food floated in water to ensure proper
intake of water to flush the bladder and urinary tract. Game meats (venison,
etc.) are high purines. Should your dog develop gas on any food, there is a problem
in digestion and it is not for your dog. No dog food is right for every dog!
