| Comments | Ms. Beasley (better known as Bee Zee)was taken to the shelter by a family member, with a request that she be euthanized, because her alcoholic and abusive owner had died. Thank goodness the shelter refused, as they saw her sweet, loving nature. Bee Zee is now in a foster home in Greeley. This poor girl has lived her whole life with abuse and drunkenness, and is now looking for a loving forever home where she can feel safe and confident. Bee Zee has made great strides in her own confidence. She loves to play fetch and tug of war and has great fun pouncing on laser or flashlight spots on the floor.She is also a kisser and cuddler. As she has some defensive and unpredictable behaviors she is still working on, we recommend a family with no young children. She is good with the male dog in her foster home, but still defensive with the females. Bee Zee usually ignores cats and she is completely housebroken. The best match would be a home with an experienced and patient dog person that can give her love and consistent guidance. Her new owner must be a leader who will hold her to the rules, but never strike her or use negative training. She had too much of that in her first home.
