Chelsie re-entered foster care on January 26, 2006 after having been adopted and ending up with a different family who surrendered her to the local shelter after Chelsie growled at a child who slid down a banister and landed on top of her! An older lady, Chelsie developed problems in her hind end and eventually lost the use of her hind legs. Unable to walk now, it was obvious that her quality of life was suffering and it was time for us to let her go. At the tender age of 11, Chelsie went to play with the other forever foster dogs waiting at The Rainbow Bridge on August 20, 2007 when the world lost yet another kind soul.
