Entering foster care on December 14, 2006, Zebb was a great dog. He loved to be close to his people and give kisses - to the point of being obnoxious about it! Zebb was a very happy boy who loved to play in the yard with his foster-sister. They would play hard, but they both loved it. Sometimes the noises they made would cause the neighbors to wonder if anyone was being hurt! It was all in good fun and neither of them ever had so much as a scratch from these wrestling tournaments. Zebb also loved to go for walks in the neighborhood and was a great ambassador greeting everyone he met along the way with tail wags and kisses. Around the house one of his favorite pastimes was to lay on the back of the sofa in the sun and watch the world go by. Unfortunately, Zebb had a neurological disorder. It was determined that this condition was not treatable and since Zebb didn't even know that he was a potential danger to those around him he would never be adoptable. It was with very heavy hearts that we made the really tough decision that he would have to be euthanized. His foster dad made the trip to the vet's office and Zebb left us knowing compassion on April 3, 2007. Zebb is greatly missed, because for three and a half months in his foster home he was truly a great boy who was very much loved by his foster dad. |
