Molly

Never to Be Forgotten with All Our Love

My Molly girl. She was so special and she is missed so much. She brought so much joy and love to us. She was always happy and there to cheer you when you were sad. She was more human than most humans. She was a clown and loved everyone, animals and people alike. She taught our other dogs to play tug-of-war. We called her our good Samaritan girl.

She traveled everywhere with us, and she even rode on the motorcycle with us. My husband made a special trailer for her and she had a condo that we pulled on the back of our motorcycle. He made her a leather scarf and she loved to go. She would sit in the front seat of the car with me and look out the window and ignore you as she was busy being "cool".

She loved blankets and being covered up. Loved jumping at the snow OR water if you threw it up in the air.

She was the most special little person. I had polio as a child and had a hard time walking. She just "knew" what to do and where to walk so I wouldn't trip. She got lots of kisses and hugs and sang to us. If she heard the Andy Griffith theme song on tv, she would sing to that. If you whistled it softly she would sing. She taught our other dogs how to sing to it too. We adopted other dogs from the Humane Society and she just
adored them. She loved to swim and eat sticks and chase balls. (Bringing them back wasn't her favorite but she did eventually). Loved frisbee and just running in general, but would lay down on the rug in front of the stove and watch me doing things in
the kitchen. She would watch for things in the air, and look up and growl at
paraplanes, and such. She didn't like bronze statues and would bark at those, she was so aware.

We got her at 5 1/2 weeks old and she left us at 14 1/2 years. Those who didn't get to know her or take the time, truly missed out on what pure love is. If we could all learn to love like our animals do, this would be a grand world. If I could have her back for one day, it would be something I would cherish. I haven't been able to stop crying and I miss her so much. She hung the Moon and stars and left a huge empty hole. We miss our friend and baby.
